I just ran into former SRIA executive director Buck Lee outside of the Supervisor of Elections office. He said that he has pre-filed for Escambia Tax Collector as a Republican.
The incumbent Janet Holley is not seeking another term. Scott Lunsford had profiled as Republican candidate. Deb Moore is running as a Democrat.
Lee retired from the SRIA last month. He has served as county commissioner in both Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.
