Gov. Rick Scott declares state of emergency for Escambia and Santa Rosa counties

Severe Weather Update
· Governor Rick Scott has issued an Executive Order declaring a state of emergency for Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties as a result of the tornado.

· Regency Park, located at 8245 Fathom Road, just off Olive Road and Squire Road, in the Regency and Northpointe neighborhood has taken damage.

o Regency Park will be closed until further notice. Parks crews are doing general clean-up of wood and debris to safe guard the park, but will remain closed until further notice.
o Signs noting closure will be placed at the park once parks crews depart.
o No other parks in county sustained damage and operating as normal.

· Saint Vince de Paul (2200 W. Desoto Street) is accepting in-kind donations for families affected by Tuesday’s tornado. Donations will be accepted between the hours 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.
