Sansom not only lawmaker on the take

The St. Pete Times has found 18 other current and former lawmakers that are employed by state colleges…none of them are from our three districts.

Rep. Ed Homan, R-Tampa, a physician who makes $200,000 teaching at the USF medical school.

Sen. Dennis Jones, R-Treasure Island, is the economic development vice president at St. Petersburg College.

Sen. Charlie Justice, D-St. Petersburg, is a student adviser at USF.

Former Rep. Joe Pickens, R-Palatka, is the new president of St. John’s River Community College. Last year, as budgets were being slashed for community colleges, Pickens steered $7.4-million to the school.
