Scott, Bondi to speak GOP National Convention

Florida Gov. Rick Scott and Attorney General Pam Bondi, who lined up months ago behind GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump, will be among the speakers during next week’s Republican National Convention in Cleveland. Convention organizers on Thursday released a partial list of speakers.

Also on the list is longtime Florida Republican leader Sharon Day, a co-chair of the Republican National Committee.

Also included are some of the Republican candidates who were defeated or dropped out of this year’s race for the GOP presidential nomination. They are former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, physician Ben Carson, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker.
