City slow to post monthly financial reports

When he was first elected in 2010, Mayor Ashton Hayward committed to “Produce monthly, line-item financial statements that will be posted online for the public to view, along with explanations for any significant variances from budget projections,” (see page 3).

However, this year the City’s Finance Department has been slow to post the monthly reports to the city’s website.

According to the metadata on the reports posted, the creator of the files is Laura Picklap.
