Mystery candidate withdraws from Congressional race

From Escambia County Supervisor of Elections:

The Escambia County Supervisor of Elections Office was notified by the Florida Division of Elections today after the polls opened, that Gary Fairchild has withdrawn from the U.S. Representative, District 1 race. According to the Division of Elections, any votes cast for this withdrawn candidate no longer count.
