Pensacola – Bottle Club & Bingo Capital of Florida

The Pensacola City Council showed that is serious about creating jobs at its first regular meeting by voting to allow bingo parlors within the city limits.

“In this economic time, any commercial building that can have a tenant is what we need,” said Councilwoman Diane Mack.

Or maybe the zoning change to allow bingo parlors in C-2 zones is the city council’s first step towards consolidation since the county already has these fine institutions of commerce….just not poker at the dog track.

The only council member to vote against the rezoning was Maren DeWeese.
