Escambia County Wish List

Escambia County put together a wish list of projects for the state legislative delegation. According to Sonya Smith, the county’s public information manager, that list is being fine-tuned to forward to Sen. Bill Nelson, Sen. Mel Martinez and Congressman Jeff Miller:

$500,000 -Code enforcement help, research for clean up debris on private land
$5,000,000 -Regional Offsite Mitigation Area
$1,500,000 -Beach erosion, habitat restoration for Perdido Key beach mouse

$2,000,000 -Multi-use Community Center & Disaster Response/Recovery Center
