More budget cuts coming?

The Herald Tribune reports that Florida Senate budget chairman J.D. Alexander said Tuesday that tax revenues for December and January were expected to be a whopping $224 million below predictions.

Alexander said the December and January revenue drops, annualized over the next year, would create an additional $1.5 billion budget hole to fill for the next fiscal year on top of the expected $2.5 billion shortfall.
