Bubba Watson represents Pensacola at MLB winter meetings

Major League Baseball will hold its winter meetings next week at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland. Blue Wahoos co-owner Bubba Watson will represent the Pensacola franchise.

Blue Wahoos partner Quint Studer told Inweekly, “Bubba’s going to be there Monday, and it’s very exciting. That’s one of the great advantages, Bubba’s such a great representative for Pensacola.”

He added, “You know Bubba doesn’t just represents the Blue Wahoos. He represents Pensacola in such a fabulous way. So that’s one of the advantages of having Bubba as an owner of a team…He’s out there to get people to understand and be excited about the Pensacola area.”

Watson has a heavy media schedule set for Monday, Dec. 5:

10:30 a.m. – Live with MLB Network
10:45 a.m. – MLB Network on Sirius XM
11:10 a.m. – MiLB.com (can view later on BlueWahoos.com)
11:30 a.m. – ESPN SportsCenter
