Florida city wants developers to divulge investors

The Naples City Council is strengthening its ethics ordinance. They want to mandate that real estate developers divulge investors in their projects before council votes.

The City of Naples has an independent process for handling local ethics complaints. They are investigated by the Naples Police Department or the Collier County Sheriff’s Office and sent to a county judge for a ruling.

The City of Pensacola Code of Ethics (Chapter 2-6) is enforced by the mayor, if violated by any employee of the City of Pensacola, and by the city council, to the extent authorized by law, if violated by the mayor or any member of council.
