Buzz: Purge coming at School District

There are rumblings that Escambia County Superintendent Malcolm Thomas will be moving his people into Administration. Several Jim Paul people will be not have their contracts renewed or will be demoted. Some of the changes should be expected. Thomas made no big staff changes when he took office and kept most of the administrators in place.

Of course, Public Defender James Owens took a completely track – firing and hiring in droves.

Sheriff David Morgan made personnel shifts. He didn’t renew the contracts of several of McNesby’s key administrators. However, he did keep a few.
