Dr. Martha Saunders, president of the University of West Florida, talked on “Pensacola Speaks” about her new cabinet appointments and the merger of Student Affairs and Enrollment Affairs.
“This way we have a seamless relationship with a student from the day they come to this campus for their eight grade science class visit to the time we recruit them, to the time admit them, to the time we bring them in and bring them through orientation until we do a firm handoff,” she said.
“We think that the relationship building that you do with students starts a lot earlier than the day they walk in the door.”
