Pensacola Christian grad running for governor of Maine

Garrett Mason, 2006 graduate of Pensacola Christian College, has announced that he will run for governor of Maine in 2018. A Republican, he currently serves in the Maine Senate and is the Senate Majority Leader.

Mason is a real estate agent. After college, he worked the Portland Sea Dogs, the Double-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, and then as an executive for the Lewiston Maineiacs, a junior ice hockey team of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
