Gun violence moves inside city limits

Pensacola police are investigating an overnight shooting on Le Jeune Drive that left bullets lodged in a nearby home. Two male suspects forced their way inside a home in the 7600 block of Le Jeune Drive around 10:40 p.m. Wednesday night and began shooting, according to a Pensacola Police Department release.

The shooting continued outside the home in the front yard, and a single bullet struck a nearby house and lodged in a bathroom wall.The homeowner was inside the bathroom at the time but wasn’t injured. The motive for the shooting is under investigation, and police have suspects, according to the release.
