Pensacola International Airport has a record-setting January

Pensacola International Airport had a recording-setting month in January. The facility handled 117,766 passengers, a 10.1 percent increase over January 2017.  In 2008, the airport set a record for the first month of the year with 109,579 but hasn’t approached that number since.

The Pensacola airport had 10,820 more passengers than it did in January 2017.

Meanwhile the passenger growth at the Destin- Fort Walton Beach Airport saw a 17.1 percent growth for January over the same month last year —9,711 more passengers.
