Incumbent District 2 ECUA board member Lois Benson has a commanding lead over challenger Gloria Horning, according to the latest Inweekly/Political Matrix poll.
The poll of 394 likely District 2 voters had Benson 48 percent, Horning 8.6 percent, and leaving just over 33 percent uncertain in this race.

METHODOLOGY:
The persons sampled were likely District 2 voters of the primary and general election cycles. They were called using an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system during the hours of 2-8 p.m. Sept 15-17. The phone numbers called were provided by Escambia Supervisor of Elections Office. The Margin of Error for this study is +/- 4.5 percent with a confidence level of 95 percent.
