The Santa Rosa Island Authority has canceled the 7 p.m. Bands on the Beach performance scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 9, due to the hurricane and storm surge watch in effect for the area by the National Hurricane Center. There will be no rain date for Tuesday night’s canceled performance by Elvis Remembered.
The Salute to First Responders event that BRACE was scheduled to host on Oct. 10 has been cancelled due to the intensification and current forecast for Hurricane Michael. First responder awards will be presented through the agency or department of the first responder. Questions about the cancellation may be directed to (850)444–7135.
