In partnership with Ryan and Ellis Group at Merrill Lynch and South Market, Feeding the Gulf Coast will be hosting a happy hour at the new Studer Community Institute Building Atrium. The event, which is open to the public, will be centered around the Backpack Program, the food bank’s weekend child nutrition program throughout the school year.

Feeding the Gulf Coast is looking to raise awareness of childhood hunger throughout the Central Gulf Coast. The event is 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1 at the SCI Building Atrium, 220 W. Garden St.
