County Administrator George Touart called this afternoon about the Winners & Losers (Winners & Losers– GEORGE TOUART AND ERNIE LEE MAGAHA FEUD ).
“Outzen, you’re killing me” is how the conversation started. Touart said that he offered to hold a joint meeting with Esc. Clerk of Court Ernie Lee Magaha’s employees with the media present and answer any questions that the employees have. He has gotten no response from Magaha. Touart agrees that the Clerk’s employees (/Dissent in the ranks ) are caught in the middle and hopes the court hearing will clear the air.
“I don’t need any more employees. This is not a feud between Magaha and me. The computer system is one that they begged for. The Oracle system is the best one out there for county government. We need our system upgraded and all departments need to be on the same page so that we can have a more open government.”
