Magaha-Touart battle wages on

grumpyFriday, the two Escambia County powerhouses – County Administrator George Touart and Clerk of Courts Ernie Lee Magaha faced off in court.

Magaha filed a motion for his employees be allowed to move out of the old county courthouse. County asked for more time. Judge set October 18th to hear the motion…

Magaha’s Attorney, Nix Daniel, may counter with a request for an emergency hearing. The employees wrote an anonymous letter to Independent News complaining about the conditions in the old courthouse that we published on this blog (Letter – Employees). They are caught in the middle of this battle.
