CMP Buzz

The Pensacola City Council approved the Conditions Precedent that are in the Master Lease and Master Development Agreement, which set the lease commencement date as May 29, 2009.

Before the Master Development Agreement can be signed, Maritime Park Development Partners (MPDP) must get a Design Build certification from the state of Florida. According to my sources, MPDP has assured City and CMPA staff that it should take less than two weeks.

Once the Design-Build certification is received, the CMPA, City and MPDP partners can execute the Development Agreement. Then MPDP should be able to begin the site clearing…so maybe the first week of August we see dirt being moved on the property.

The Contractor’s Academy is suppoed to commence with the execution of the Development Agreement.
