Another COVID-19 death

Escambia County has nine more COVID-19 cases – 69 over the past seven days, year-to-date total 853.  The county also had one more death – six in the past seven days, year-to-date total 35.

DOH Escambia entered 404 new test results in the system – 2.2% positive. Year-to-date: 4%

Of the 77 new cases, 28 were not Florida residents – 36%.  Year-to-date: 20% of our cases have not been Florida residents. Non-Florida residents have 6.2% positive rate.
