Slow Sunday, ‘only’ 5,266 new COVID cases

Florida had 5,266 new cases – positivity rate 13.5%.

Escambia County had 42 new cases – three were non-Florida residents and two associated with local nursing homes. Positivity rate was 10.7% for Sunday, June 27. The median age is 30.

The county had 16 ICU beds available this morning – 13.6% capacity.

Last Sunday, June 21, Escambia County only had 12 new cases (1.9% positivity). The Sunday before that – June 14, the county had 13 cases (3% positivity).
