Buzz: State prepares bars for second reopening

Yesterday, Halsey Beshears, secretary of the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, was in Pensacola to meet privately with bar owners. We’ve been told he went over guidelines for bars when they reopen and warned that if the community’s positivity rate goes above 20% that the state would close them again.

The positivity rate for Escambia through July 31 was 12%.
