Breaking news: Skanska gets postponement for trial – Update

Update – 3 p.m.: Pre-trial conference set for Wednesday, Oct. 6, 9 a.m.

Claiming issues due to Hurricane Ida, the attorneys representing Skanska have asked and received a continuance in the lawsuit brought against them by local residents and business owners. No new date has been set for the trial that focuses on the economic damage to the community after Skanska’s barges damaged the Pensacola Bay Bridge, shutting it down for six months after Hurricane Sally.
