Our campaign was earlier provided with Democratic poll #’s for the mayoral race. Hence, we only polled NPAs and Republicans. For the last 11 months I have been meeting with and listening people all throughout our city, regardless of their party affiliation.
Why would you take a poll for the Pensacola’s Mayoral race of only Republican and non-partisan electors that you contact via a LANDLINE? I have not had a land line for 20 years. And I know a few years ago I used to get your InWeekly political polls on my cellphone before I refuse to take unknown calls. The Mayor and City Council positions are non-partisan, as you know, and any Pensacola elector can and should vote August 23rd because if one of the four candidates gets over 50% of the vote they win, August 23rd. Otherwise, the top two vote getters go to November 8th General election. Really, what gives with your poll? You show that Democrats are equal to Republicans in the City of Pensacola at almost 16,000 each plus about 9,000 NPA or Other.
