Gov. Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Gabriel Bullaro, Julie Sheppard, and Gordon Sprague and the reappointment of Kevin Lacz to the Pensacola State College District Board of Trustees.
Gabriel Bullaro
Bullaro is Chief Executive Officer of HCA Florida West Hospital. Previously, he was Chief Executive Officer of HCA Florida West Marion Hospital. Bullaro is a veteran of the United States Navy and has been a member of the American College of Hospital Executives. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Boston University and his master’s degree in business administration from Duke University.
Julie Sheppard
Sheppard is the Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Counsel for the Florida Institute for Human & Machine Cognition. She is a member of the Sacred Heart Advisory Counsel and a member and Past President of the Impact 100 Pensacola Bay. Sheppard earned her bachelor’s degree in English and psychology from the University of Virginia and juris doctor from Suffolk University.
Gordon Sprague
Sprague is a retired Senior Vice President Regional Wholesaler for AIM, a Houston, Texas-based , Mutual Fund Money Management Firm. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force and served as President of Florida Recreation & Parks Association. Sprague earned his bachelor’s degree from Florida State University, his master’s degree from the University of North Florida and his honorary doctorate from Vermont Technical College.
Kevin Lacz
Lacz is a Physician’s Assistant with Regenesis and a former Navy SEAL who served two tours of duty in Iraq, where his actions earned him a Bronze Star Medal with a Combat V, two Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals and two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals. He and his wife started Hunting for Healing and he has written and released two books. Lacz earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Connecticut and his master’s degree in medical science from Wake Forest University.
These appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
