Stepping Out in Style Fashion Show raises $130K

The 46th annual Stepping Out in Style Fashion Show, presented by the Women’s Board of Baptist Health Care Foundation, raised more than $130,000 to build a playground at the behavioral health unit at the new Baptist Hospital campus. The new campus is set to open in fall 2023.

The BHU provides care to thousands of individuals requiring inpatient behavioral health care each year. More than 1,100 of these patients are children ages 10 to 17 with some patients as young as age 5. The playground will offer a fun and welcoming environment and allow our youngest patients to focus on their recovery.

The fashion show is the largest fundraiser for the Women’s Board of Baptist Health Care Foundation. Professional and local celebrity models showcased the latest fashions from Bluetique, Dillard’s, Gulf Coast cabi Stylists, The Market & Mainly Shoes, and The South Outfitters.

Baptist Health Care Foundation would like to thank the following sponsors: The Averett Family; Ballinger Publishing; Cat Country 98.7 and NewsRadio 92.3 FM & 1620 AM; Courtyard by Marriott; Cox; Gresham Smith; Pensacola News Journal; Poarch Band of Creek Indians; Acumen Medical Imaging + Interventional; Emerald Coast Hospice; Kia AutoSport; Moore/Harper Group – Merrill Lynch; Voya Financial; and WEAR.
