GOP lawmakers crush challengers in fundraising

In Escambia and Santa Rosa counties, Republican incumbents have crushed their Democratic opponents in fundraising in the Florida Legislature races by nearly $900K. The best Democratic fundraiser was Carolynn Taylor with $13,594, but she still lagged State Rep. Alex Andrade by more than $200K.

The weakest fundraiser was Charlie Nichols who raised $2,773, which includes $2,100 he loaned to the campaign.
