Hundreds of runners and walkers will take off on the Pensacola International Airport runway Saturday, Dec. 3 for the 10th Annual Runway 5K benefiting the United Service Organization Northwest Florida.

“The Runway 5K is one of those events that is extremely special here at the airport, and we are excited to once again be able to partner with USO Northwest Florida to benefit their mission,” Airport Director Matt Coughlin Said. “It is going to be a great event, and we look forward to seeing everyone on the runway.”

All participants will receive a T-shirt, timing bib, and a special finisher’s medal. There will be special awards in several categories. Walkers, strollers and children are welcome.

Packets will be available for pickup on Friday, Dec. 2 from 3-6 p.m. at Running Wild, located at 3012 E. Cervantes St. On the day of the race, packets can be picked up at the airport between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
