Breaking: City cancels Streamline Boats lease

On WCOA this morning, Mayor D.C. Reeves announced that the city canceled Streamline Boats’ lease on Wednesday, March 16. The company did not meet the contractual requirement to have a Certificate of Occupancy, according to the mayor.

In 2020, the Pensacola City Council approved a 10-year lease for warehouse space at the Port of Pensacola for Streamline Boats of Northwest Florida. The company was required to start making rental payments this spring.

Mayor Reeves said the city rejected the company’s request for an extension.
