The Spearman Brewing Company was Pensacola’s first brewery. It opened on May 18, 1935, shortly after the end of prohibition, and was popular among local military personnel during World War II. Mike Moon and Stephen Struck have written a book about the brewery, filled with photos of the plant, its merchandise and various marketing campaigns.
