Just got our home insurance premium notice from State Farm. It went from $3800 to $14,000!!!! If we don’t find a new carrier, our monthly insurance payments will exceed our mortgage payments.
Have heard stories of elderly, retired homeowners deciding to go without insurance. Others who still have home mortgages are being forced to sell their homes.
This is ridiculous. Where are our state legislators – Dave Murzin, Holly Benson, and Greg Evers? It’s great to help bring $$$ for the Andrews Institute and the Greyhound Track but how about showing a little love for the working man?
