On WCOA’s “Real News with Rick Outzen,” Airport Director Matt Coughlin shared that Pensacola International Airport is adding a new airline, Breeze Airways. The airline will offer a direct flight to Tampa and a one-stop flight from Norfolk, Va., to Pensacola.
“Breeze Airlines just announced within the last 30 minutes – and they’ve been working with us – they’re going to begin service,” said Coughlin. “Originally, it was this fall, but it looks like it may be moving up to this summer. Right now, they’re looking nonstop at Tampa and, with a follow-through over to Norfolk, what they call a “breeze through.”
He added, “That’s going to be good for us to add more choice for our customers, and that’s a huge deal to get, especially an airline like Breeze, on board. That’s huge for us.”

Pensacola International Airport (PNS) is excited to welcome Breeze Airways with nonstop flights to Tampa (TPA) and one stop/no change of plane service to Norfolk (ORF). The two destinations will have twice-weekly service on Mondays and Fridays starting June 28.
