City FY 2025 Proposed Budget online – Updated

A draft of the Fiscal Year 2025 budget for the City of Pensacola is now available online.

Some highlights of the approximately $317.3 million Fiscal Year 2025 proposed budget include:
  • No millage rate increase
  • 15% of postponed CPI increase in Pensacola Energy rates
  • Phase II of the three-phase employee salary adjustment in 2025
  • Increase of 4 positions
  • Raises of 7% for Fire, 3% for all employees but Police (Police Union under negotiations)
The General Fund is expected to see $5.9 million in revenue growth. $1.7 million of the Fund Balance will be appropriated, leaving $14.399 million in Council Reserves.
The Pensacola City Council has tentatively scheduled a budget workshop for Monday, Aug. 12. The public hearings are tentatively scheduled for  Sept. 4 and Sept.11.
