Do for-profit colleges and trades school work?


The New York Times investigates whether for-profit colleges and trade schools, like Virginia College, actually work? People are taking out loans and Pell Grants for these schools and many are finding the credits don’t transfer to PJC, UWF or other colleges. According to the NYT, students may earn too little to pay back the loans, while the schools make huge profits.
