Kohler may run for Congress

On “Real News with Rick Outzen” this morning, Escambia County Commissioner Mike Kohler shared he is considering running for Congress.

“It’s funny you said that, boy; last night, I was getting lit up,” Kohler said. “I think I’m the only one on the Trump train locally. I know Gaetz was from the beginning, and I’m looking into that maybe. I haven’t made a decision, but I want to see who gets involved.”

He continued, “But yeah, I’m considering it. I am the only veteran. I’m a nurse. I think I bring a skill set that would unite people, and I understand the military bases better than I think anyone would run, and we’ll see.

Kohler added, “Well, it’s funny that it came out yesterday, and I know everyone in politics probably got blown up. Hey, you’re going to run. You’re going to run. But you know how it is.”
