Crist to run as Independent

Several media sources, including Fox and Wall Street Journal, are reporting Gov. Charlie Crist has decided he will run as an independent for the U.S. Senate seat. The official announcement is scheduled for Thursday at 5 p.m. in St. Petersburg, Florida.
