ECUA to Host Public Meeting on Potential Sewer Expansion Project in West Ensley

The Emerald Coast Utilities Authority (ECUA) will host a public meeting to discuss a proposed sewer expansion project for residents in the West Ensley area.  The meeting will take place on Thursday, August 21, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Ensley, located at 50 West Johnson Avenue.

The proposed project aims to extend sewer service to additional homes in the area, improving infrastructure and service options for residents. The project service boundaries would be Jones Street to the south, US Highway 29 to the west, Barber Street to the north, and Orange Avenue to the east.  Community participation and positive feedback are essential to advancing this project to the next stage.  Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the proposed expansion limits, ask questions, and share their input directly with ECUA representatives.

A map of the proposed expansion limits is attached.

ECUA encourages all residents in the proposed project area to attend and take part in shaping the future of their community’s sewer service.
