The Escambia Children’s Trust has a lame-duck board, spending millions of dollars. A one board seat, formerly held by Pastor Lonnie Wesley, has been vacant since Dec. 31, 2022. Gov. DeSantis announced appointments to a similar board in Miami-Dade before Labor Day. Will we see names announced this Friday?
