Andrade, Salzman named chairs

Rep. Alex Andrade will once again chair the House Health Care Budget Subcommittee. The Pensacola Republican will have a seat at the table where the state budget is decided, serving on the Budget Committee and the Joint Legislative Budget Commission

Rep. Michelle Salzman secured chair of the Housing, Agriculture & Tourism Subcommittee. The Cantonment Republican will also have seats on the Commerce Committee and the Agriculture & Natural Resources Budget Subcommittee

The Escambia County Legislative Delegation will hold its annual public meeting on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 6 p.m., at the Molino Communty Center, 6450-A Hwy 95A North, Molino. This meeting offers constituents, local governments, and community organizations the opportunity to share legislative proposals, appropriation requests, and community priorities for consideration ahead of the 2026 Legislative Session.

Important Note: The official Senate Appropriations Request Form for the upcoming legislative session has not yet been released. Once the form is made available, our office will provide it to all interested parties. The release is expected in late September.
