Voter turnout for the half-cent tax referendum is expected to be 15%. Pollsters say that if the turnout is 10% or less, the initiative to provide primary care for the uninsured could be in trouble.
Expect to see a big push to get out the vote on June 26. We have heard that WSRE may broadcast a forum on the issue before the vote.
