American Community Survey shows we have slipped since 2010

The U.S. Census Bureau’s American Community Survey shows that Escambia County median household income has dropped over the past four years. The gap between man and women on median annual wages did improve but both genders had their median wages decline since 2010.

Males 2010: $41,400 2013: $38,566
Females 2010: $31,128 2013: $30,439

Gap 2010: $10,272 2013: $8,127

Note: Women comprise 57.2 percent of our workforce
