The weekly newspaper “The Florida Catholic” did a story on human trafficking in this week’s edition that is distributed statewide.
The article – “America’s dirty little secret exposed” – has many of the same facts and statistics as our article. It focuses on the May16-17 Florida Coalition Against Human Trafficking Conference that was held in Fort Walton Beach.
The Catholic church is encouraging its parishes to become more aware of the problem and work to eliminate human trafficking at local levels.
…Still nothing on WEAR or in PNJ. Maybe I should check and see if The Florida Catholic did an article on the Escambia County firefighters.
