Andrade picks up a challenger for House District 2 race

Pensacola Republican Greg Merk qualified Thursday to try to succeed Frank White in House District 2, according to the state Division of Elections website. He will face attorney Alex Andrade in the August primary.

Escambia County Commissioner Doug Underhill has qualified to run for his District 2 seat. Kells Hetherington has qualified to run for the School Board District 2 spot.
