Back to School Backpack Giveaway on Aug. 2

Community Health Northwest Florida, in partnership with Escambia County District 3 County Commissioner Lumon May, is hosting a Back to School Backpack Giveaway on Tuesday, August 2 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Brownsville Community Center, 3200 W. De Soto St.

Student backpacks and school supplies will be distributed to students of all ages on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last. COVID-19 vaccination will be available for family members, ages 6 months to adult; participation is not required to receive a backpack.

IMPORTANT: *Limit one backpack per student; student must be present to receive. Vaccination participants under age 18 must have parental consent.

*Individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days or have had symptoms of illness (fever, cough, shortness of breath) in the past 14 days should not attend this event or receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
