Bay County gets out of Spring break business

Panama City Beach grows up.

From News Herald:

The Bay County Tourist Development Council this week reaffirmed its intent to get out of the college Spring Break marketing business.

During a meeting Tuesday, board members voted 7-1 to reaffirm an earlier policy change that slashed taxpayer funding for Spring Break 2008 by 50 percent.
