Bense kicked off FSU board

CristGov. Charlie Crist has decided to not go thru with Jeb Bush’s last minute appointment of former House Speaker Allan Bense to the Florida State University Board of Trustees. Bense’s appointment was one of 283 made Bush right before his term end and later cancelled by Crist.

Crist did  howeve reappoint Susie Busch-Transou, 41, of Tallahassee, co-owner of Tri-Eagle Sales, a major Anheuser-Busch beer distributor.

Instead of Bense, the governor chose William “Andy” Haggard, 64, a Coral Gables lawyer and former FSU trustee.
