Big Band Bash to preserve historical bldg

Keep Pensacola Beautiful invites the public to the Big Band Bash on September 21 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m at the Pensacola Museum of Commerce for a benefit to save the historic Coca-Cola Building on North Palafox Street. The event will include dinner, dessert, live music from Joe Occhipinti’s Swing Band, complimentary swing dance lessons, and more.

“We are looking forward to raising the remainder of the funds to purchase this building at this event,” says Sigrid Solgard, Executive Director of Keep Pensacola Beautiful. “This building is a Pensacola landmark and one that deserves to be preserved. Our vision is to make it into a community gathering space and we are honored to have the support of the community in this effort. We hope that everyone comes on on the 21st!”

There will be many ways to support the initiative including a wine pull, silent auction with items including an introductory flight lesson with Trident Aircraft, a Downtown Pensacola experience package, photography session, and more!
